Merits Overview

To create a standard certificate, click on Create Certificates and:
  • Merits are awarded to students and/or teachers.
  • Merits have points value which you can set.
  • You will create the merits you want to award and set the points value.
  • A merit can be positive such as "Worked very hard" with a value of +1 OR you can add a demerit where the points value would be negative for example "Bad behaviour" with a value of -1
  • You can also add "Achievements" such as "Bronze Award", "Silver Award", "Detention Level 1" etc. which will issue a certificate.
  • When adding an achievement:
    • you must give it a name such as "Bronze Award"
    • a description is optional
    • you must choose the merits that are accounted for in the award
    • specify how many merit points in total the student or teacher must achieve to attain the achievement certificate.
